York General Contracting is your one-stop resource for all your process skid fabrication requirements. York General Contracting has a mechanical fabrication shop equipped with all of the necessary equipment for the fabrication of process skids.
Skids are made by our fabricators from a variety of raw materials such as pipes, pipe fittings (e.g., elbows, flanges, tees, etc.), valves, pumps, motors, and so on. Pipes are cut to the required size and moved to a fitting table with pipe fittings, where some of the components are fitted together. The resulting sub-assembly undergoes welding operations before being returned to the fitting table and fitted with additional components. Simultaneously, the skid's base frame is constructed. Following that, all components are assembled on the base frame. Local, National, and International customers are served by our full-service metal fabricator.
